Get Victoria's look

Victoria Beckham at last week's England v Ecuador game Victoria has been wearing very simple casual outfits recently - very easy to recreate (and by using cheap alternatives from the high street too)! The Birkin bag she carries costs the same as a deposit on a house so for those of you who like the look but don't wish to part with quite so much cash take a look at this site, vanilla-paris which sells designer style bags at a fraction of the price. I though this tan bag on their site for £99 (small) or £125 (medium) was a great alternative. The beauty is that unlike most knock-offs, these are all made of real leather and so you are still getting a quality bag. Vanilla Paris is located on Kings Road in London and is frequented by both Sienna Miller and Kate Moss who loved their fur gilets and Moroccan style bags, so you can be sure you'll be getting a great product. Whilst out shopping yesterday I also noticed an orange stretchy ribbed vest just like Victoria's for £6 at dorothy perkins. I don't usually like orange but this one from DP was the exact same shade as Victoria's and would look great against tanned skin.

Jessica's back to old self

After a string of questionable outfits Jessica Simpson finally stepped out this week looking fabulous once again. I love this outfit and it's great to see her looking relaxed and happy. Can anyone identify her t-shirt? She also looks like she lost a little bit of weight again. Either that or those white jeans are super-slimming. Maybe she had to work out some for her new video.

Handbag of the week

Marc by Marc Jacobs Tripe Strand Shoes from net-a-porter. Selling for £255 and available in blue or black. Very sexy 4 inch heel. I love the stud detail on each of the 3 straps. I am imagining these with black city shorts or a dress in the heat of August. Perfect for a wedding or when you want to grab some attention. These are the kind of shoes that would attract the "ooos" and "ahhs" and the "where did you find those?"!

Home life

We just had an interior designer come into out house to finish off the two spare bedrooms. She had free reign to do as she pleased as we are clueless. What do you think of the final results? I think it's amazing what a difference the accessories can make. Nothing was expensive...I think she got most things from Ikea, TK Maxx and Matalan!

Cheryl's vest found!

Last week I posted an identification of Victoria's red England vest top that can just be seen in this pic. Now I have found out where Cheryl's vest is from...NEW LOOK! The Sun newspaper recreated her outfit from that day and stated that the white vest with the names 'Beckham' and 'Cole' (Cheryl's fiance) on was a bargain from high street store New Look. They don't sell online so if you want it ahead of Saturday's game you need to phone up your local store and see if they have any left. I am really appreciating the trend for mixing designer with high street across the UK right now. It makes everything so much more accessible for all of us!

These pictures are from Baden Baden this week. Love the white crop Rock & Republic jeans. They look hot! She has teamed them with yet another waistcoat. I must admit, she pulls it off. And isn't little Cruz (who we don't see much of) such a cutie.

Jessica's new video

Last week I posted about Jessica Simpson's new video. Now you can all get a sneak peak at what the final result will look like. All the detail I gave turned out to be correct except that Christina Applegate (pictured to left of Jess) appears to have replaced Carmer Electra who had previously been named as being involved. Eva Longoria and Christina Milian can be seen at the back of the shot. Jess looks fantastic!

Look for Less

A knock-off of Victoria's sash dress has just appeared on asos for £35. It also comes in black. Check out my post a couple of days ago for the gorgeous couture version for £120. I'm not sure what the asos dress will be like in person. The pink looks like too much of a hot pink but you can never truly tell until you see it in the flesh!

What is Paris wearing!

Paris Hilton out in London at The Cuckoo Club. What is that half leather glove she is wearing? Am I missing something? Please leave a comment if you understand what this trend is all about?! Is it a trend? Or has Paris lost the plot?! Otherwise, I love the red dress.

Nicole Kidman weds today

Nicole Kidman wed Keith Urban today in Sydney, Australia. Has Nicole, who was reported to have been devastated when ex husband Tom Cruise and former Dawson's Creek actress Katie Holmes announced they were having a baby, found Mr Right? I hope so. Some articles have suggested that the only thing these two have in common is that they are both Australian. Keith, a former alcoholic and crack addict, has signed a pre-nup which states that he will receive £350,000 for every year of marriage but absolutely nothing if he falls off the wagon and touches drugs or alcohol anytime during the marriage. Nicole has a fortune of around £40 million compared to Keith's £5 million as a country singer. Nicole was wearing an ivory gown, designed by Nicolas Ghesquière for Balenciaga.

Topshop will hold out later than everyone else but watch out as it should be soon and you need to get in there quick to get the good stuff. If there's one thing i've learnt since I began working in fashion retail, it's that when sale time comes around there are bargains to be had...but only for the ones who are prepared to put in the time and effort to look. That's why online sales are so nice - no people fighting with you over an item of clothing, no having to climb over masses of garments strewn across the shop floor, no being barged into as you sift through the rail. Bliss! la senza and figleaves sales just launched. Dig in.

I am on the hunt for a roomy bright shoulder bag to inject some colour into my life. I am having trouble finding anything online but I did come across these two from fcuk. What do you think? BB Grace out

So, on Friday Grace was booted out of the Big Brother house. No surprise there then considering how unlikeable the girl is. She seems to think way to highly of herself. But then when you delve into her background it kinda becomes clear why she thinks she's better than the rest of the Big Brother contestants. Did you know? Grace is posh. A bit of a Sloane Ranger apparently. She went to school with Richard Branson's daughter Holly and is a close pal of George Best's son Callum. 3 years ago her mum bought her a £250,000 flat in Notting Hill so that she could pursue her dream of training to become a dancer. Lucky girl. Seems like this girl is fame hungry. What she said about her fellow housemates: Aisleyne: "She looks like a demented moose. She thought me and Mikey were fake. She's the fake. Imogen: "She can be a real bitch. She looks like butter wouldn't melt"

Style Steal: Aniston

There is often debate in the press about Jennifer Aniston's style. Is it boring? Or is it chic and stylish? I say it's very very stylish. What I like about Jen is that she never ever looks like she tried too hard. Looking good is effortless to her. Yes, you could say she does slack off now and again when she pulls out yet another black dress or tank top. But then she'll wow us and wear something a little bit unexpected such as the cut out draped Versace dress (yes, ok, it is black) pictured on the far right, which looked better on Jen than it did on the runway model! So, if any criticism has to be given I would say that her look is kinda 'predictable'. But then on the flip side, it's an easy look for us mere mortals to try and copy without the risk of looking hideouos (than if we were trying to recreate Paris Hilton's style, for example! ha ha!) So to try the look out for yourself: Keep it simple - Jen sticks to basics whether for daywear or eveningwear Choose classic items in clean lines. Steer clear of fuss or detail Accessories are to be minimal Stick to neutral colours - black (obviously!), grey and white with the occasional splash of blue, orange or red to give a pop of colour Keep clothes fitted not baggy Brands that Jen often wears are C & C California, James Perse, Calvin Klein & Theory. Check out celebrity style guide for more ideas. And, if you're on a budget, you can easily recreate this look from the high street.

Celebrity clothing

In the US there are an absolute tonne of web sites dedicated to providing buyers with the exact clothing as seen on their favourite celebrities. In the UK? We're not so lucky. But perhaps UK retailers are slowly cottoning on and the situation will get better in the future. You have probably all heard of asos. As yet no one has tried to compete with asos. I wish somebody would. The only UK based sites I could find that are working along the same concept were discoo and usastyle4u. The best I found at discoo are the Amplified Rolling Stones tee and Alexander McQuenn style skull scarf. (currently sold out) The best to be found at usastyle4u are Primp thermal top seen on Paris Hilton and Bilingual silk top seen on Halle Berry. Great that this kind of site has arrived but the problem is the prices. For example, the Primp thermal top is priced at £75. In the US the retail price is $65 which is approx £35! I understand why the pricing is as it is (customs charges for importing clothing into UK) but from a consumer's point of view I would much rather buy from a reputable seller on eBay USA and negotiate a reasonable shipping cost with them. OK I may have to wait a week for my item but if i'm getting it so cheap I don't mind.

Look for Less: YSL

The YSL Muse has been something of an 'IT' bag over the past few months. It is certainly on my wish list that for sure. Spotted on several Hollywood celebs, including Jessica Alba and party girl Lindsay Lohan. Whilst the real thing will set you back about £720, how about this great alternative from river island for just £34.99. River Island are renound for making great bags so you can be sure the quality will be good.

Must have: NARS duo

Head down to selfridges and get yourself this Nars Limited Edition Orgasm Blush & Laguna Bronzer duo for £27. Celebrities, make-up artists and beuty editors are always raving about these two beauty products and now they come as a duo. Smart huh? This seems to me to be the must have make up essential to take you through until autumn. According to Selfridges web site: Laguna is a natural looking bronzing powder which leaves skin looking authentically sun-kissed, with no hint of orange, favoured for it’s even and smooth finish. Colleen Face of Asda

Colleen McLoughlin is just one of life's strange miracles! Born into a working class family in Liverpool, how did she end up being crowned Best Dressed Celeb ahead of Sarah Jessica Parker at a fashion awards ceromony this year, a writer for Closer magazine and now the Face of George at Asda's new Must Have Range?? When she accepted an offer of a date at 15 from footballer Wayne Rooney I bet she never imagined in her wildest dreams that all this was ahead of her. Well I have to give the girl credit. Polka dots are big news!

If Kate Moss, Sarah Jessica Parker and Carmen Electra all say it's OK then I do to. Stars across the globe have literally gone dotty for this trend. It's cute though. And makes a plain outfit less boring. If you're not as brave as these lovely ladies then just wear the polka dots in an accessory such as a scarf or wear a polka dot top with plain bottoms. I just spotted the following two tops at river island and thought they were a perfect take on the trend for those who want to look subtly fashionable. And at these kind of prices you can't go wrong. Both tops would look fab with dark skinny jeans.

Out for dinner in Baden Baden, Germany. I gather from the photos that these two are best buddies now. I wonder what it is about Cheryl that Victoria likes better than the other WAGS (Wives and Girlfriends). You can just about guarantee in every pic now for Cheryl to be by Victoria's side. Oh, and what a life they have...the media reported that last week they took part in their favourite team sport, shopping and spent more in an hour than most of us spend in a lifetime. They are even starting to look scarily similar: tight knee length dresses, high shoes, long brown highlighted hair. I mean, check out the photo below...are they twins?

She is a young Irish author in her mid twenties and daughter of Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern. Her debut novel PS I Love You is my all time favourite book, followed closely by Where Rainbows End
