Runway Report: Part 3 (The Waist)
The nipped in waist is a trend here to stay for another season and the chosen method this autumn and winter is the ribbon. Medium to wide ribbons in only black, navy or grey were seen all over the runways worn over coats, jackets, dresses and sweaters. This is a cheap and easy look for us all to copy. It's feminine and classy, whilst at the same time I think it makes a very bold style statement. Pictured here at Matthew Williamson (left & middle) and Oscar de la Renta (right): ![]() It seems to me that topshop absolutely hit the nail on the head with this lovely creation, available now in cream or navy, online and in stores, for just £22. If you like to plan ahead like me then this little purchase would be a very cheap and easy way to look super fashionable right through from autumn 2006 until late spring 2007. To get maximum wear dress it up for the evening with dark slim jeans and killer heels and wear with jeans, flats and a cardigan for day time. ![]() ![]() |
