If you are intending on wearing your watch every day, whilst still being fashion forward, you will need to consider the different types of clothing and accessories that your watch will need to complement. Women’s watches can come in a variety of classic designs and finishes that will leave you looking polished and poised on a daily basis. The main aspect to consider is whether you want to opt for a metal or fabric strap for your watch; most people prefer either gold or silver coloured metal and it is a good idea to consider the type of jewellery you wear to ensure it will match in and not clash with your existing style. If you like to alternate between gold and silver jewellery then it might be more prudent to consider a watch with a black or neutral coloured strap; this will guarantee that your watch will look perfect with everything in your wardrobe.

Looking after your new watch

Once you have purchased your watch no doubt you will want to keep it looking it’s best for as long as possible. Good quality watches can last a lifetime and are often handed down through generations of the same family. It is advised that you remove your watch before you go to sleep as your natural movements in the night may cause you to damage the watch or cause injury to yourself. It is good idea to check the accuracy of your watch every so often to ensure it is keeping the correct time; watches can be adjusted by pulling out and moving the small dial on the side of a watch. If you find that your watch keeps losing track of time then it may be worthwhile paying a visit to your local jeweller; they will be able to advise whether you watch is faulty or whether it simply requires a change of battery. All Saints arrives at ASOS

Funky rock-chic brand All Saints has finally arrived online at ASOS. This is a great way for All Saints to test their online market on a small scale before laying out cash in order to allow their own online site to accept orders. The range is small, with just five pieces available in the collection. Nonetheless, it's still worth checking out. Hopefully, in time, the online range will expand, as this truly is one brand with their finger on the pulse of cutting edge fashion.

Kate Moss at Topshop

As many of you will probably already have heard, fashion icon Kate Moss will be designing a collection in collaboration with topshop. The collection, worth £10 million to Kate, will be available from April 2007 online and in stores across the world. Some more news...Topshop, which already has 63 overseas branches, is set to open at a flagship site in New York next year! In a statement made by Kate, she said "I have always been a big fan or Topshop and regularly shop there. I love what they stand for and am very excited at the thought of working with them". Owner, Philip Green said of Kate “She is a fashion icon in terms of the UK… and this is what Topshop is all about in terms of fashion. Our customers identify with her.”

With Topshop being the only high street store to ever appear at London Fashion Week, it seems like there is just no stopping them. Looks like there's no stopping Kate Moss either - with numerous big ad campaigns already this year and now this, maybe being caught snorting cocaine wasn't deemed by the fashion industry to be such a 'mistake' after all. Cost per wear

To make the most out of your wardrobe you need to make sure you buy things you love and that are versatile. Too often we buy items that don't match with what we already have and end up sitting in the wardrobe, for the most part, unused. If you think carefully about your purchases you can certainly justify buying more expensive, quality items. Think about it like this - if you buy a bag for £250 but use it 3 times a week for a year then it has cost you only £1.60 per wear. A decent bag will last way beyond a year too. On the other hand, buy a bag for £25 that you don't love so much then you may use it just ten times over the course of a year, making it more costly at £2.50 per wear.

Ashlee Simpson shows us how it's done. Over the past few weeks she has been dedicated to her black BCBG handbag and grey Eugenia Kim hat. Granted, Ashlee probably got both items free but you get the picture. Think about this next time you go shopping and make your wardrobe work harder for you!

Mischa rocks the black & white look

Mischa Barton photographed at the Mario Testino and French Vogue party on Sept 9th. September is a great month for closely watching what celebrities are wearing as they will all be beginning to sport the trends that will be worn for the next 6 months. It's a good opportunity to decide what you like and what you don't like before you spend your hard earned cash in the shops. Mischa looks fantastic in black and white - I posted that this colour combination would be big once again in Runway Report: Colour back in August. This is a safe trend to follow and seeing this picture reminded me of just how classy monochrome looks.

Handbag of the week

I am so addicted to Chloe bags. No other designer matches up for me right now (except for perhaps Balenciaga). The Chloe Tekla could be a huge hit this season. It's big, it's shiny, it's quite obviously by Chloe, it looks even more expensive than it actually is, it's got lots of studs, poppers, zips and pockets. Phew, that was a mouthful. There couldn't be a more perfect reflection of the runway accessory trends. Approx £800 by chloe.

If you like the look but not the price tag then you'll find lots and lots of cheaper alternatives to this style throughout the season. This one from next is just £16.99

Functional fashion

So what do you make of this? A clutch bag that incorporates a light activated when you open it up. The idea being that late at night in search of your keys, this little invention will make life easier. No more fumbling around. Neat idea by Solas, although kind of pricey at £100. Apparently Britney Spears, Cameron Diaz and Eva Longoria are all fans.

...can be found at denimology. Ever wondered exactly which wash, style and brand Kate Moss and Jessica Simpson are wearing? Well, denimology has all the denim knowledge you are ever gonna need. The site, up and running since February 2006, also includes over 40 links to the web sites of the best premium denim around. It's astounding just how clued up the editor, Andy, is about denim - many of the brands he features I hear about here first before anywhere else.

I don't talk much about denim on B Glam, probably because i've been searching for the perfect pair of jeans since I was about 14 and have yet to find a pair that I absolutely love! By now i've pretty much given up looking. Despite this, I still think a good pair of jeans is the single most important thing to have in your wardrobe.

Topshop steps up it's game

We don't really have many online stores based in the UK so I tend to really appreciate those that we do have. topshop's online store is set to get even better. The word on the street is that from October pretty much every item found in the Oxford Road, London flagship store will be available to buy on the site. Now, that's a lot of choice - more than 2,000 items to be exact. In addition, there will also be exclusive designer collections that will only be available online. Topshop could also be set for world domination - they are currently looking to expand into America, finally! With Philip Green, one of the most ambitious people on the planet, as the boss it had to happen sooner or later. The location of the first store has not yet been announced and perhaps it hasn't even been decided just yet.

I'm sure this is a move that Americans will be joyful about. The fact is, the Americans don't really have anything quite like topshop. Within a similar price range they have stores like banana republic, gap, and victoria's secret - hardly fashion leaders. Topshop regularly attracts celebrities from all over the globe, such as Madonna, Kate Moss, Kate Bosworth, Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce, who on a trip to London will always stop by the Oxford Street store. It's success lies in the fact that although it's ranges are extensive, it operates like a boutique, selling lots of very fashion forward items in small volumes so that there's not a huge chance of seeing someone wearing exactly the same as you at a party. The inclusion of unique designer collections that showcase new talent is another plus.

I have no doubt that Topshop will take off in America. Let's not forget that Topshop has made an appearance there before. Hip boutique opening ceromony in New York stocks clothing famous to a particular country and in 2005 chose Topshop. The owner picked about 200 lines to launch within the store during New York Fashion Week. Jane Shepherdson, Topshop's brand director seems somewhat surprised at the attention Topshop received in the states. Following on from the buzz Topshop's unveiling at Open Ceromony had she said "We are not a big, fancy brand. We're just Topshop. We're very English".

QUICK - sack the stylist Jessica!

What has been going on with Jessica Simpson lately? I think she seriously needs to consider hiring a new stylist. Here's the evidence: First off, looking very drunk (check out the bloodshot eyes), wearing what looks like a black apron.

I just can't believe my eyes with this next outfit. This dress looks like something an 8 year old would wear to a birthday party.

Here, she looks like she tried a little bit harder but she doesn't stand a chance wearing a dress that looks more like a long length black men's wifebeater tank top. I'm not a fan of the hairstyle either. It's too harsh. Jessica does look great with shorter hair but more like shoulder length than jaw length. And what's with the patchy fake tan on her legs?!

Just to let all our UK readers now that oasis is now online. There isn't a large range yet but that will build over the next 6 weeks. There are some great features to the site, which reads like an online magazine - including a 'fashion solutions' page where you can send an email with your fashion crisis and the design team will get back to you with a solution. You can also see the Oasis 2006 Catwalk photographs and learn about the top trends for the new season. Just fabulous!

The 58th Annual Emmy Awards

I was somewhat disappointed with the red carpet fashion at the Emmys this year. Not one lady's ensemble truly had the wow-factor for me. Full length glamour gowns were the key trend. Here's a few of my fashion hits and misses! Eva Longoria was my favourite overall - the best of an average bunch. Her bright white dress was unique and slightly quirky, showing off her tiny waist and working perfectly with her olive skin tone. Eva's choice of minimal accessories and classy understated shoes was spot on...her dress did all the talking. Couldn't you just imagine Sarah Jessica Parker in this outfit? Top marks to Eva.

Nick Lachey's girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo wore quite an exotic looking dress that probably only someone with her curves and exotic looks could pull off. I don't love it but I do like it. Very unusual and very detailed. I think this girl could look good in anything though.

It's not too often we see Lost's Evangeline Lilly out of combat pants and tank tops. She looks hot on Lost but looks even hotter like this. Stunning gown that reflects Evangeline's style - classy and elegant.

Calista Flockhart looked flawless. I'm not sure I would have chosen black for a daytime event such as this - when the sun is shining it's nice to wear some colour. Nonetheless, Calista looks chic and graceful. The perfect black dress.

And now, for the fashion misses. There were no real shockers. Jennifer Love Hewitt looked stunning - her hair and make up was faultless and she has a figure to die for...I just don't like her dress. It's too glitzy and too grown up for a girl in her twenties - the kind of dress you'd expect to see on a Hollywood actress in her fifties. I think she could have done a lot better than this.

Debra Messing - I know you're a comedy actress but you have got to be kidding?! The word Meringue springs to mind.

Falling for Marc

I'm in love with the new Marc by Marc Jacobs Collection for Fall 2006. Perusing my favourite online store shopbop I was literally in awe at some of the pieces. What I love about Marc Jacobs, aside from the quality, is that the clothes are wearable. The collection this year is so well co-ordinated that I would be quite happy if I was told that I could only wear items by Marc Jacobs for an entire year and my life depended on it. This chunky button up knit is my absolute fave (runs upstairs quick to see how much is in my piggy bank).

Handbag of the week

This bag £22 by faith is perfect for every day use when you don't fancy hauling around everything but the kitchen sink. I never used to be a fan of clutches as I always felt strange just clutching hold of a bag rather than holding on to a strap or slinging it over my arm. Weird I know. Now though, i'm addicted. I think they look very chic. I'm sure you're all aware how hot the dogstooth print is for autumn and winter - it was seen all across the runways. I'm a big fan of using accessories to incorporate major trends and for this reason, this is my handbag of the week.

If you happen to hate dogstooth or already own something in the print then faith also made this bag in a gorgeous shade of grey with a very subtle pinstripe. As grey is the biggest colour for the upcoming season, this would also be a great buy.

Victoria Beckham...pregnant?

I don't think so anymore after seeing these photographs taken at Nobu, London on Tuesday 22nd August. A series of pictures shows Victoria incredibly unsteady on her feet, having to be literally held up and made to walk straight by a lady and her bodyguard. Yes, sometimes photos can tell a different story than what was actually happening but there's no two ways about it...she does look drunk. And if one thing's for sure if Victoria actually was pregnant she would not be getting drunk.

Rumours have been flying about in the media over the past few weeks that David had taken her to a nutritionist as he was concerned she was too thin to conceive. He apparently very much wants a fourth child. Add that to the fact Victoria has been seen wearing baggy tops every time she's been photographed and we all then think she is pregnant. You'll also notice in the photographs from tuesday that she's wearing an extremely fitted/skin-tight top - the kind of top that would show even a couple of extra pounds of weight round the stomach. So, I don't think she's pregnant but I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I have finally found some in the UK. This trend has been huge all year; the jewellery design of choice for Hollywood celebs including Nicole Richie. Easy to obtain in the US, not so easy in the UK. Whilst I was out eating at the dysart arms I noticed the waitress had this necklace on and it got me thinking about where she may have got it. I came across this one at urban outfitters UK for £12 - they also have the earrings for £10:

Knock-offs - love them or loathe them?

Knock-offs are not the same as fakes. A 'fake' Chloe Paddington handbag would have the name 'Chloe' branded on the padlock. It would be trying to fool you into thinking it is made by Chloe. An example of a knock-off Chloe Paddington handbag is the Lush Fashions padlock bag selling at a fraction of the price. The Lush version does not pretend to be made by Chloe - it has 'Lush' inscribed on the padlock. Here's another example -

Last season's Marc by Marc Jacobs Triple Strand Shoes (above) now on sale for £153 have emerged in river island's autumn/winter collection albeit in a different colour (black or red available for the great knock-off price of £44.99).

My favourite, Nicky, is back in The Big Brother House - YAY!! This girl cracks me up. Did anyone watch the show last night? Are Nicky and Pete in love or what? Seems pretty genuine to me too. And this is a girl who used to go out to the clubs in London, like Pangea and China White, every week (looking out for footballers and C List celebs I expect). Pete is definitely not the type she has previously gone for. I hope they last!

I've been keeping my eye out for the perfect red shoes all week. You know what it's like when in your head you can envisage exactly what it is you need and then every shoe you come across just doesn't fit the bill somehow? I was about to give up...until I walked into a Peacocks store this morning and there they were. The perfect height (over 4"), the perfect shade of red AND the perfect price - £12! So comfy too. In my eyes this was a great find...I know i'll only wear them through autumn and winter while the trend for red accessories is so huge so why pay more?!

Jennifer Ellison's bag is the Chloe 'Betty', retailing at around £900. The bag i've chosen for the handbag of the week is an incredible knock off by LUSH (pictured on the right). Lush make fabulous versions of our favourite designer bags. What I like about Lush is that all the bags are made of genuine leather so you are actually getting a quality bag in a designer style for a good price. This one (which they call the ivory small multi pocket camera bag) sells on their site for $139.99 (£75). But i'll let you into a little secret...these bags are cropping up brand new on eBay for less.

I couldn't just choose one handbag of the week this week. I just had to also post about this green washed leather hobo bag £40 by topshop. What a great price for genuine leather and I love the vintage look of the washed leather bags topshop has produced of late. This bag would certainly brighten up my day during autumn and winter! Love her or hate her Victoria Beckham does, for the most part, have style. She's always well put together. Ignore the fake boobs, fake tan, fake nails and fake hair (until last week) and let's focus on the clothes (and bags, and shoes, and jewellery - gawd I would love to raid her wardrobe). The 'Jerry' platform pump by Gucci. The sexiest 4" heels I think i've ever seen. Priced at $495 (approx £260). It's not so easy to see from this photo, but 'Gucci' is engraved in the cream platform sole. What's also quite clever is that you can choose to have a 3" heel or a 4" heel. I 'm literally drooling over these shoes! A girl can dream...

Fashionistas like Kate Moss and Nicole Richie, to name just two, are going loopy over leopard print. Last time leopard print was this on trend was in the 1980's (UK girls, think Bet Lynch on Coronation Street) and I never thought i'd say this...but I quite like it. So, lets take a look at the fall runways, pictured here from left to right L.A.M.B, Roberto Cavalli and Kenzo (check out those booties!).

I don't know about you but i'm not quite brave enough to step out in this much leopard print! So to help you guys take on the trend in your real lives I picked out some cute accessories. Nicole wore heels, Kate Moss wore flats - what would you wear? This trend looks its very best teamed with black and kept to a minimum. Take a leaf out of Nicole and Kate's book and remember less is most definitely more.

Me? i'd choose the Dorothy Perkins ballet flats and wear them with medium blue distressed and battered jeans. And for those of you who HATE leopard with a passion, how about these black & white zebra style flats from ASOS?

The Botkier Bianca Satchel as seen on Lindsay Lohan. I've always been a fan of Botkier bags, mainly because I think they're a little bit different. I like that this bag is slightly slouchy, not totally structured, with an almost vintage look about it - the type of leather that would keep getting better and better with age. And I love the Botkier twist lock fastening and shiny hardware! This is one classy understated bag.

The Botkier Bianca is actually quite cheaply priced compared to many quality high end bags and i'd certainly get my money's worth out of this one. This bag is timeless - a classic in my eyes. And everyday bags don't come better than this - it's roomy without being too big which makes it perfect for either work or play and my mobile phone would fit nicely into one of those front pockets (my keys in the other). I like that it will fit over the shoulder but also looks great, as modelled by Lindsay, resting on the forearm like most of the girls wear their bags in Hollywood. I adore the colour of the blue one (called 'denim') that i've only found available online at shopjake for $695. They also have the smaller version of the bag in toffee (pictured below) for $595.

Other colours available are dark brown, copper, platinum (a creamy shade with a sheen to it pictured above), ivory and of course black (Lindsay's match-with-everything sensible choice). Can you tell I'm on a quest for comfort right now?! I got these 3 Juicy Couture pieces all on supersale in Club for $37 (£20) (Neiman Marcus), Scout Blue and Skaist Yellow for $28.80 (£16) each (Bloomingdales) using code JULY40 for 40% off their already low sale prices. Bearing in mind the standard price for Juicy Couture terry hoodies in Selfridges is no less than £80 ($150! No, girls in the US, that is not a typing error!) at full price, I think I got one hell of a bargain. I bet all you US girls really don't realise how good the deals and steals are that you get offered. I'm lucky I have a friend (you know who you are!) who receives goods to her house in America and then sends onto me. She's a star!

Runway Report: Part 3 (The Waist)

The nipped in waist is a trend here to stay for another season and the chosen method this autumn and winter is the ribbon. Medium to wide ribbons in only black, navy or grey were seen all over the runways worn over coats, jackets, dresses and sweaters. This is a cheap and easy look for us all to copy. It's feminine and classy, whilst at the same time I think it makes a very bold style statement. Pictured here at Matthew Williamson (left & middle) and Oscar de la Renta (right):

It seems to me that topshop absolutely hit the nail on the head with this lovely creation, available now in cream or navy, online and in stores, for just £22. If you like to plan ahead like me then this little purchase would be a very cheap and easy way to look super fashionable right through from autumn 2006 until late spring 2007. To get maximum wear dress it up for the evening with dark slim jeans and killer heels and wear with jeans, flats and a cardigan for day time.

And here's some good news for all you frugal fashionistas - did you already buy a wide black belt this year to team with your dresses a la Carmen Electra to give that 50's sillouette? Well then don't ban it to the back of the wardrobe - you can make even more good use out of it throughout autumn, winter and spring. The belt has to be black and it has to be wide. Runway Report: Part 2 (Stripes)

According to the fall 2006 runways, stripes are still a big hit with the designers but only in black/dark grey or navy/dark grey. I absolutely love this grey and navy stripe cardigan (left photo) which appeared on the Adam and Eve runway. Kate Moss has already been showcasing this look, 2 months ahead of what I would officially call fall! But we know how she likes to be ahead of the crowd.

As the new fall ranges are filtering in to stores, now is a great time to actually see what made it from the runway into 'real life'. This is one trend that we'll be seeing a lot of. Lovely Louboutin's PART TWO!

I hit Manchester first thing this morning before the crowds and before the sweltering heat kicked in. Whilst I was there I checked out these Christian Louboutin lookalikes at ALDO in the newly transformed Arndale Centre. Remember I made a post about these last week? I came back with the peep toe version in black leather...they even have the red undersole! Of course I would much prefer to own the real thing but these were just £59.99 so it means I can buy them guilt free.

I'm still not 100% sure - should I have got the slingback version like Lindsay? I would love to hear your views...yay or nay?! The store assistant showed me a copy of Grazia Magazine whilst I was there as these shoes are featured. She said everyone is going crazy for them and people are buying them in more than one colour!

Drama Queen

Mischa Barton is currently in London attending drama classes this summer. She is so determined to obtain more serious acting roles after being killed off in The OC that she has enrolled on a course at London's prestigious drama school, the Royal Academy for the Dramatic Arts (RADA). Apparently Mischa has said: "I'm so surprised nobody really knows me in England. It's just unbelievable. I have to introduce myself, which I never have to do in the States". Here she is photographed outside the school this week. So what do you all think about her attending drama classes?

I've never been a great fan of sales as I am not one who enjoys rummaging. I like to have everything neatly laid out as I walk around the shop and can't handle the chaos of the stores that turn into jumble sales at sale time. That said, there are still some great bargains to be had. I just logged on to ASOS and snapped up 2 items for when I go away on hols in September. dorothy perkins have produced these celebrity designed limited edition t-shirts in aid of Breast Cancer Care. There are 5 styles, designed by Charlotte Church, Sienna Miller, Sharon Osborne, Denise Van Outen and Nicole Kidman. Each tee costs £15 and of that, £5 will go to the charity. If you want one I would seriously be quick as these will sell out.

Sienna Miller designed the middle vest in the above photo. It has a great saying on it: "Forget not that you are a child of the universe. No less than the trees and the stars, you have a right to be here".

Runway Report: Part 1 (Colour)

Autumn/Winter 2006: The fashion season is about to change so it's time to plan what we will be wearing from September onwards. High street stores will bring their sales to an end by the start of August at the latest to make room for the new autumn lines. I'd like to be a little bit more prepared this time round and make sure I make the best fashion choices...so over the coming weeks I will report on the runway shows to see what's in store for us. Starting off today with COLOUR: If you wear head to toe black as a rule then you are going to be very fashionable. Most designers sent their models at some part of their show up the runway in just black...and when I say head to toe black that's what I mean - black dress, black shoes, black bag. Even when colour was introduced black seemed to be the base for most outfits.

A serious, dark, somewhat murky colour story was carried across all but a few of the shows. Alongside black, grey was just as prominent. This, i'm pleased about. I like grey. When worn in the right way it looks classic and less harsh than black on paler skin tones. It's a great neutral colour and one that Jennifer Aniston works into her wardrobe really well. No particular shade of grey appeared to be favoured. All shades of grey from light to dark and metallic for eveningwear were evident.

Designers used navy, red and white to work in with the base colours grey and black. Red seems to be the colour of the dress this coming season with numerous designers adopting it as the colour of choice for their WOW-factor runway dresses. Red was often teamed with black, navy or white, either as a contrasting garment or as an accessory (red beaded necklaces at Marc by Marc Jacobs).

With blue being my favourite colour, I was delighted to see some of the gorgeous shades from cobalt blue to midnight blue to mid blues bordering on lilac, which broke up the expanse of black and grey.

BLACK and WHITE worn together, I think, will be huge. Remember when everyone was wearing black and white stripe tops? Well, don't think about pulling those out the wardrobe. Wear the two colours together to make up an outfit like at Narciso Rodriguez or you could wear white with black accessories or vice versa (try a black v neck sweater over a white tank top with a white bag...get the picture?). Aside from working the trend this way, lots of garments were shown off in black and white prints and I think this is something we could see quite a lot of on the high street. This dress by Diane Von Furstenburg is to die for. A reccurent theme was a black and white check almost like the flags at car racing tracks!

Victoria's Hebrew tattoo

The tattoo, another declaration of her love for David, means "am my beloved and my beloved is mine". I wonder when she had it done. She rarely wears her hair up so it may just be that it's been done a while, we just haven't seen it.

The weather was great this past week in England (for once!) with temperatures hitting 32 degrees in some places. Having worked all week I had no chance to bask in the sunshine so by the time Thursday came I was dying for my Friday off to finally enjoy some of the sun everyone kept talking about. So what was the weather like Friday? Dull, breezy and no warmer than 18 degrees. Sod's law. So, all day Friday I found myself day dreaming of California where it seems the sun is always shining. Feeling miserable I got sucked into some online shopping and stumbled across these girly t-shirts. I chose the pink one. If you can't afford the £400 price tag then a tonne of different style have appeared on the high street. All the following except for the bottom left shoe (£49.99 at River Island) are by Aldo, which has by far the best range of styles and colours. The Aldo styles sell for around £59.99.

I need a pencil case, a bag and some shoes, and I was wondering if you could help me out. I need things that are cheap and durable, but I'd also like them to be stylish. As for shoes, my school uniform means that the shoes have to be black, and obviously I need to be able to walk in them. Do you know what kind of shoes will be popular come Auntumn/Winter 06? I'd really appreciate it if you could help."

Ballet style shoes refuse to go away - they will still be right on trend for autumn winter 2006/07. Get a black pair and they will be perfect for school...super comfortable and very stylish. faith has a gorgeous pair for just £20. If you're not into this look then schuh has a cute pair of black courts with a low heel but they are more expensive at £49.99. I couldn't find many shoes I thought were suitable for you, as most of the online stores are offering summer sandals. Faith has a great range of back to school shoes from August - I would wait and see what they have to offer then.

As for bags, it really depends on your style. When I was at school I was a bit of a surfer girl so my bags always came from Roxy, Billabong or Mambo! Oh, how i've changed. It's 8 years since I left school so i'm not sure how much help I can be but if you are more of a girly girl and fancy yourself as one of the girls out of Clueless then the following could be options: A chanel style quilted white shopper for £24.99 from river island or choose a roomy shoulder bag of your choice (I love this aqua one for £28 from topshop and team it with one of their £5 durable print shoppers, which will fit a file, A4 pad and a textbook).

For your more run of the mill style messenger bags I would visit bargain site mandmdirect where I spotted this Bench bag for £14.99 and Roxy bag for £9.99.

Madonna for H&M

H&M Press Release: Madonna and her entire 150 person crew for the Confessions World Tour each found clothes that reflect their own individual styles while shopping at H&M. The international fashion retailer agreed to provide a complete wardrobe for Madonna and her 'touring family' as part of a long term agreement that includes an upcoming advertising campaign between H&M and the Material Girl.

In addition, Madonna worked with H&M designers to create a unique track suit to wear while she's on the road. The tracksuit comes in black, white and purple. The top (€29.90) is narrow and feminine with a yoke and gathering and the trousers (€19.90) are fitted at the top with wide legs and detailed with zippers. 'We are pleased to be able to offer this track suit to our customers by mid-August' stated H&M's head of design, Margareta van den Bosch. The advertising campaign is scheduled to begin in August.

Hangover from hell

Lindsay Lohan just turned 20 this week and celebrated with more than 100 friends and family at a party in Malibu. I find it hard to believe how much this girl has fitted into her life considering she has only just left her teenage years behind. She was photographed here, in Malibu, apparently the morning after the night before, looking slightly worse for wear. Messy hair, dark under eye circles, drink in hand to combat the alcohol induced dehydration...if I didn't know better I'd think it was me in this photo!

After hearing all the buzz about the release of the movie version of The Devil Wears Prada in the US just recently, I decided to finally get round to reading the book by Lauren Weisberger, which I was given for Christmas. I am currently half way through and am loving it so far. I would really recommend buying the book (it's only £3.99!) and enjoying the read before you see the film when it opens in the UK. This is a real chick lit read - if you liked the 'Shopaholics' series then you'll love this. Patricia Field, the Emmy award winning Costume Designer for "Sex and The City", was the wardrobe stylist for the film and managed to spend over $1 million worth on clothing and accessories. It's a killer title: The Devil Wears Prada. And it's killer material: author Lauren Weisberger did a stint as assistant to Anna Wintour, the all-powerful editor of Vogue magazine. Now she's written a book, and this is its theme: narrator Andrea Sachs goes to work for Miranda Priestly, the all-powerful editor of Runway magazine. It turns out Miranda is quite the bossyboots. That's pretty much the extent of the novel, but it's plenty. Miranda's behaviour is so insanely over-the-top that it's a gas to see what she'll do next, and to try to guess which incidents were culled from the real-life antics of the woman who's been called Anna "Nuclear" Wintour. For instance, when Miranda goes to Paris for the collections, Andrea receives a call back at the New York office (where, incidentally, she's not allowed to leave her desk to eat or go to the bathroom, lest her boss should call). Miranda bellows over the line: "I am standing in the pouring rain on the rue de Rivoli and my driver has vanished. Vanished! Find him immediately!"

In the film, Anne Hathaway plays Andrea and Meryl Streep plays bossy boots Miranda. Just looking at a few of the photos makes me so excited to see the film. Such gorgeous outfits:

Victoria Beckham was spotted in London carrying a scrumptious brown bag from Prada's fall collection. Obviously Victoria has it before it is available to anyone else on earth. I am still on the hunt for the perfect big bag to carry all my essentials to work so I think that's why this one is appealing to me so much.

Topshop sale has finally launched online and starts in stores tomorrow 9am. I just had a quick glance at their online offer and spotted this crochet tunic down from £40 to £20. This is similar to the one worn by Colleen McLoughlin, Wayne Rooney's fiance, in Germany a couple of weeks ago. I actually read in a newspaper that Colleen's is from Topshop but I didn't see it on the site. Her's is more of a royal blue rather than navy. Looks cute teamed with the white jeans.

Rachel Stevens mooching around the shops in St Johns Wood (one of my fave parts of London) this past week. I haven't heard anything about Rachel lately...I know she was out in LA for a while, trying to get work there maybe. I did a google search to see what she's been up to and it seems she's just been performing random shows across the UK since she came back at the end of May. I came across this on her official website - her message board - and I thought it was great how she actually made a post herself - click here to read (I wonder if she wrote it personally or one of her assistants did it?!). I hate to be critical, but her jeans have had a dodgy hem job and are not at all flattering. I did notice she is carrying a lovely white quilted leather bag with chain strap - is this Chanel or Marc Jacobs?

I love football and am very patriotic when it comes to the game, so i'm so disappointed that England are out. And what a dramatic game it was with Rooney being shown the red card and Beckham forced to leave the pitch with an injury. Too bad our boys flunked it on the penalty shootout. Victoria Beckham at last week's England v Ecuador game

Victoria has been wearing very simple casual outfits recently - very easy to recreate (and by using cheap alternatives from the high street too)! The Birkin bag she carries costs the same as a deposit on a house so for those of you who like the look but don't wish to part with quite so much cash take a look at this site, vanilla-paris which sells designer style bags at a fraction of the price. I though this tan bag on their site for £99 (small) or £125 (medium) was a great alternative.

The beauty is that unlike most knock-offs, these are all made of real leather and so you are still getting a quality bag. Vanilla Paris is located on Kings Road in London and is frequented by both Sienna Miller and Kate Moss who loved their fur gilets and Moroccan style bags, so you can be sure you'll be getting a great product.

Whilst out shopping yesterday I also noticed an orange stretchy ribbed vest just like Victoria's for £6 at dorothy perkins. I don't usually like orange but this one from DP was the exact same shade as Victoria's and would look great against tanned skin.

After a string of questionable outfits Jessica Simpson finally stepped out this week looking fabulous once again. I love this outfit and it's great to see her looking relaxed and happy. Can anyone identify her t-shirt? She also looks like she lost a little bit of weight again. Either that or those white jeans are super-slimming. Maybe she had to work out some for her new video.

Marc by Marc Jacobs Tripe Strand Shoes from net-a-porter. Selling for £255 and available in blue or black. Very sexy 4 inch heel. I love the stud detail on each of the 3 straps. I am imagining these with black city shorts or a dress in the heat of August. Perfect for a wedding or when you want to grab some attention. These are the kind of shoes that would attract the "ooos" and "ahhs" and the "where did you find those?"!

We just had an interior designer come into out house to finish off the two spare bedrooms. She had free reign to do as she pleased as we are clueless. What do you think of the final results? I think it's amazing what a difference the accessories can make. Nothing was expensive...I think she got most things from Ikea, TK Maxx and Matalan!

Last week I posted an identification of Victoria's red England vest top that can just be seen in this pic. Now I have found out where Cheryl's vest is from...NEW LOOK! The Sun newspaper recreated her outfit from that day and stated that the white vest with the names 'Beckham' and 'Cole' (Cheryl's fiance) on was a bargain from high street store New Look. They don't sell online so if you want it ahead of Saturday's game you need to phone up your local store and see if they have any left. I am really appreciating the trend for mixing designer with high street across the UK right now. It makes everything so much more accessible for all of us!

All the detail I gave turned out to be correct except that Christina Applegate (pictured to left of Jess) appears to have replaced Carmer Electra who had previously been named as being involved. A knock-off of Victoria's sash dress has just appeared on asos for £35. It also comes in black. Check out my post a couple of days ago for the gorgeous couture version for £120. I'm not sure what the asos dress will be like in person. The pink looks like too much of a hot pink but you can never truly tell until you see it in the flesh!
